D Day....we must never forget..
Today is the 65th anniversary of D Day. It probably feels more poignant to me this year without my beloved gramps. He was in the Royal Artillery and was part of Dunkirk and DDay in France.Whilst walking through London Thursday I came upon this monument outside the Royal Exchange at Bank.... and although it's there to commemorate the men & boys lost in the 1st world war I think it's a fitting tribute on a special day, to remind us all to be thankful.
